Globant works with Nobleza Obliga in expanding its crowdfunding platform in Latin America
Glober volunteers developed technology solutions that enabled NoblezaObliga to expand in the region and raise more funds for charitable causes.

Buenos Aires, February 18th – A group of volunteers from Globant, the company leader in creating innovative products for global audiences, worked with NoblezaObliga.com in improving and expanding its regional crowdfunding platform with the aim of improving the organization’s ability to securely raise money on a large scale.

Nobleza Obliga is the only joint financing platform designed exclusively for charitable purposes. Through the website, individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations can raise online donations to kickstart their projects and disseminate their social campaigns.

"Knowing from day one that I would be able to contribute to an organization that works with so many people in Latin America, shining a light on causes that need this type of platform, pushed me to further refinement everyday," said Juan Roldán Cargnelli, Globant Web Developer.

As part of its sustainability policy, Globant selects social projects which seek to improve society, and helps develop technological solutions that can contribute to the projects' causes. These initiatives are part of the "Globant Labs" innovation lab where Globers experiment with new technologies and trends. This laboratory provides Globers the opportunity to participate in any of its projects, including sustainability initiatives. This allows Globers to find new ways to give their time, knowledge and expertise back to the community and put technology at the service of society.

Nobleza Obliga also provides free advice, tools and guidance to help community leaders achieve necessary partnerships, and helps companies enhance their social responsibility actions with positive impacts on the community. The platform helps premier NGOs such as Caritas, YMCA, Don Bosco, as well as many smaller and self-help groups mobilized by the desire to help.
